Building collaboration across the district
JobsFirstNYC creates and advances solutions that support young adults and their communities in the pursuit of economic opportunities. Their process centers community stakeholders and ensures their voices steer collaborative efforts.
In 2024 JobsFirstNYC used the Solv platform to engage the District 8 community and build collaboration across the district.
Solv assisted them in setting up a stakeholder engagement strategy that allowed them to identify alignment among stakeholders regarding core values, community priorities, and essential elements for building a successful Employment Network.

In the process multiple accessible opportunities were provided for local practitioners, educators, employers, and impacted youth and young adults to bring their voice to the table.
Focus groups, town hall meeting and online poll were part of the engagement strategy.

Insights that empower decision making
With valuable insights into the community's needs at hand decision makers were able to quickly identify the priorities and link them to the programs and processes to implement.
